Since 1979, Parents Helping Parents has empowered over 500,000 parents to nurture their children and build stronger families.
Parenting can be difficult under the best conditions.
For families with few financial, educational, or social resources it can be even more overwhelming.
In just the past decade, Parents Helping Parents has reached parents by:
Responding to 64,000+ calls to our 24/7 Parent Stress Line offering kindness, understanding, and positive regard. As one of our callers expressed to a volunteer, “whoever you are, you’ve helped me today.”
Providing over 11,000 hours of in-person and virtual facilitated support groups to 5,000 parents and caregivers creating hope for many struggling with parenting.
Training over 500 volunteers to facilitate our 19 community-based groups and 16 parenting groups in prisons, shelters, and sober recovery homes.
How you can help.
Your donation will enhance families’ quality of life by empowering parents and giving the hope they need to be nurturing and effective caregivers.
