Virtual Support Group
New Parents
Finding Connection in the First Year
This support group is open to any parent or caregiver of a child from birth to age one. The early months of parenting bring big changes—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Join other first-time parents to share experiences, gain perspective, and find companionship during this new stage of life. Together, we’ll talk about the joys and challenges of adjusting to life with a baby and explore ways to care for yourself while caring for your child.
Topics can include:
Adjusting to life with a newborn
Navigating sleep, feeding, and changing routines
Managing stress, anxiety, and expectations
Finding balance and self-care as a new parent
Building connection with your baby and partner
Frequently Asked Questions

We create a safe non-judgmental space for parents to express themselves. Every week, parents and caregivers join our Zoom call to provide each other support and encouragement. You’ll receive the Zoom meeting link once you register.
-
Trained volunteers will facilitate this group. Parents can join at any time and are welcome to attend as many groups as they want. Usually there are between 6 and 16 parents in a group meeting.
-
Our groups are free, confidential, and open to any caregiver. Our goal is to create a safe space where group members share experiences about parenting, learn to cope with things they cannot change and figure out how to change the things they can.
